How I Can Help You
I specialise in helping people with complex, persistent neck and back pain that have tried other treatment approaches including surgery but continue to have significant long term disabling pain and discomfort.
I use a modern, holistic approach to identify the true underlying cause of your pain - which can be physical and non-physical. After thoroughly examining the whole system, from the feet to the skull, I then systematically correct any dysfunction and imbalance to ensure a successful recovery and that you are functionally fit to do what you love.
I also provide a specialist women's core health service to help women with weak, poorly functioning cores avoid having long-term incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, back or pelvic girdle pain . This service is suited to all women and Moms from months to years after childbirth.
Welcome
Hi, Barbara here. I am what you call a wounded-healer. My own rocky journey to wellness after childhood trauma, multiple setbacks and many injuries, however, has been life's gift to me.
As a specialist physiotherapist, nothing (except Motherhood) gives me more pleasure than help people avoid long-term pain and disability.
My mission is to provide you with the expert treatment, tools and guidance required to accelerate your recovery so that you can get back to enjoying your one precious life!

“I was still experiencing daily discomfort and weakness after a 2 level cervical disc replacement surgery. Barbara quickly identified my areas of dysfunction, helped me better understand how my body works...she equipped me with a host of tools, self assessments, release techniques and exercises to become confident again and have a solid base of strength for running & hiking''

"I could not recommend Barbara highly enough! I've been to many physios over a 7 year period for neck and postpartum issues, but Barbara works like no other physio I have seen. During the initial appointment, she listens to your concerns and asks questions relating to all your history and any previous injuries...she explains exactly what's happening and why, and advises on many areas that can support your recovery "
Women's Core Health

“ The After Baby Body Cure course is amazing quality! I had long standing back and hip issues that were worse after pregnancy. But after I finished the program I felt much stronger, my mid abdominal separation is a lot better and I feel a bit corseted. I now feel I have more mobility in my rib-cage, upper torso and I'm definitely less stiff in my hips. I would absolutely recommend this program to other Moms after childbirth''
